چکیده
Low power IoT communication signals (e.g., Bluetooth and ZigBee) may seriously suffer from the presence of high-power co-channel interference like wireless local area network (WLAN) signal. They effectively avoid WLAN by exploiting dynamic characteristics traffic. Representing arrival/departure users using an M/M/m/m queueing structure, characterization large-scale dynamics channel occupancy is considered. The small-scale also considered generating signal a two-state semi-Markovian process. Simulation results show that proposed model generates having similar statistical to those real

Statistical Modelling of Channel Occupancy in Trunked PAMR Systems
1. INTRODUCTION Public Access Mobile Radio systems (PAMR) using trunking technology allow more efficient use of the frequency spectrum, as all the users of the system jointly use a common pool of channels. This counteracts one of the limiting factors on the growth of conventional Private Mobile Radio systems (PMR), frequency congestion [1]. Moreover the public trunked network offers the user ma...

AMPA glutamate ion channels are tetrameric receptors in which activation to form the open channel depends on the binding of possibly multiple glutamate molecules. However, it is unclear whether AMPA receptors bound with a different number of glutamate molecules (i.e. one being the minimal and four being the maximal number of glutamate molecules) open the channels with different kinetic constant...
متن کاملService Differentiation of IEEE 802.11e
The type of the applications for which Internet is being used has changed over the years. Multimedia applications, Real-time applications and Game playing require Quality of service. IEEE has proposed IEEE 802.11e, a quality of service extension to the wireless LAN standard IEEE 802.11. In this paper service differentiation ability of 802.11e is evaluated. Identical traffic is considered for al...

Fairness of wireless channel access in terms of utilisation and throughput is studied for IEEE 802.11g by using the process algebra PEPA. Three models are presented to describe different operating scenarios. Results are derived which demonstrate when and how unfairness might occur, leading to the penalisation of some nodes in a network.
